Kurtis McBride
Chief Executive Officer
As the mind behind Miovision, Kurtis anticipates mobility trends years before they become industry standards. Since founding the company in 2005, while completing his masters in applied science at the University of Waterloo, he’s pioneered technologies that turn ordinary intersections into intelligent systems that respond to real community needs.
An EY Entrepreneur of the Year® Ontario Winner, Kurtis is known for challenging convention and scaling Miovision into a global mobility leader, now active in over 60 countries. Beyond the company, he’s shaping a tech ecosystem that drives innovation and societal impact across North American and International markets.
A recognized leader in Waterloo’s tech community, Kurtis remains focused on Miovision’s core mission: moving the world forward, one intersection at a time.

Lyne Jacques
Chief Revenue Officer
Since joining Miovision in 2021, Lyne has been instrumental in shaping the company’s global growth strategy. As Chief Revenue Officer, she leads the development and execution of integrated sales, marketing, and customer experience programs designed to scale Miovision’s impact around the world.
With more than 26 years of experience across startups and multinational corporations—including Bell Canada, iBwave Solutions Inc., and AspenTech—Lyne brings a deep understanding of complex markets and customer needs. Her leadership spans sales management, service delivery, and strategic planning, with a focus on driving results across both Canadian and international markets.
Lyne holds a law degree from the Université de Montréal, where she specialized in corporate law—an academic foundation that informs her strategic, customer-focused approach to business.
At Miovision, she drives revenue by connecting communities with the mobility solutions that move them forward.

Ashira Lapin
Chief Human Resources Officer
Ashira Lapin joined Miovision in May 2025, bringing over 25 years of experience scaling People and Culture functions in high-growth tech companies. She specializes in building high-performance cultures and organizational structures that support rapid expansion.
Previously, she led People and Culture at Wave, helping grow the company from 70 to over 400 employees ahead of its acquisition by H&R Block. In 2021, she was honored with the HRPA Woman of Distinction Award.
A passionate advocate for personal and professional growth, Ashira specializes in leadership development, psychological coaching, and workplace transformation. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, further expanding her ability to support holistic leadership and workplace well-being.

Grant Hughes
Chief Financial Officer
Grant Hughes joined Miovision in June 2025, bringing more than 20 years of financial leadership experience to help scale the company through its next phase of growth. A strategic finance executive, Grant thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments—particularly within high-performing, private equity-backed organizations.
Before Miovision, he served in leadership roles at at PointClickCare, a leading healthtech platform, and most recently as CFO and Country Manager at Ataccama. His career spans leadership roles in tech firms that use data and AI to transform traditional industries, with expertise across IPOs, acquisitions, and equity financing.
Grant holds a Master’s in Finance from London Business School, graduating with Distinction, and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University.
