Road side set up
Miovision portable data collection solutions are camera-based devices that are safely deployed at the roadside. Nonintrusive, durable and weatherproof, both Scout and Scout Explore are designed to work unattended in the field, for days at a time.

Ideal for studies where speed data and classifications are required or on high-risk roadways, Scout Explore enables vehicle speed data to be collected as part of volume count (ATR) studies - using a single device. Road tubes and radar are not required.
Scout Plus and Scout Explore provide onboard video processing for ATRs, speed*, and pedestrian/bicycle** pathway studies and automatically uploads data at the end of the study - for validating and reporting back at the office. Classifications include: motorcycles, cars, pick-ups & vans, buses, single-unit trucks, articulated trucks, pedestrians, and bicycles.
