Miovision Scout Plus® Battery Charger
WEEE Takeback Offer:
For customers outside of North America, Miovision is committed to meeting the requirements of the European Union’s WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directive (2012/19/EU) and Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542. These Regulations require producers of electrical and electronic equipment to finance the takeback of WEEE and waste batteries resulting from products that we place on the EU market. This helps us to ensure that WEEE and waste batteries are reused or recycled safely. In line with that commitment, Miovision will take back WEEE and industrial waste batteries from you. Please contact us at eu-recycling@miovision.com for details.
You also have a role to play in ensuring that WEEE and waste batteries are reused and recycled safely. So, if you choose not to return WEEE and waste batteries to us then you should not dispose of it in your bin. The crossed out wheeled-bin symbol on the product reminds users not to dispose of WEEE and waste batteries in the bin. You should ensure that the WEEE and waste batteries are collected separately and sent for proper treatment. WEEE and waste batteries contain hazardous substances and if not managed and treated safely it can cause pollution and damage human health.
