Discover the highlights of the Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026 show with Miovision. Live from RAI Amsterdam, we introduced Mateo, our new GenAI Agent, presented ground-breaking mobility solutions, and hosted expert sessions focused on road safety and intelligent infrastructure to support the worldwide mobility and transportation ecosystem.

The energy at Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026 was truly unforgettable. As the world’s leading event for the mobility and traffic industry,  the trade fair became the perfect stage for Miovision to highlight how we’re reshaping and modernizing the broader mobility ecosystem.

From ground-breaking mobility solutions to thought-provoking expert knowledge sessions, our time in Amsterdam during March 2026 was a testament to our commitment to creating smart, safe, and sustainable cities.

For those who couldn’t make it to the Netherlands, or for those looking to revisit the excitement at the RAI Amsterdam, here are the trade fair highlights.

Innovation at the Core: The Miovision Booth

The Miovision booth in the exhibition hall stayed busy throughout the event, serving as a high-energy meeting point for professional stakeholders, government officials, and transportation professionals. Visitors were eager to see how our innovative solutions provide actionable insights for road networks.

The Debut of Mateo

The clear highlight was Mateo, Miovision’s soon-to-be-launched GenAI Agent. Mateo marks a massive leap forward in modern traffic management. Rather than acting like conventional, fixed software, Mateo becomes an active partner in shaping the next era of mobility, delivering flexibility and performance that were previously hard to achieve.

Using agentic AI, Mateo generates real-time insights that help cities handle complex traffic conditions while keeping smart infrastructure ready for what comes next.

V2X Solutions and Scout Plus

Beyond the AI horizon, we showcased our latest V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) solutions that enable seamless communication between connected road infrastructure and vehicles. This technology is a cornerstone of the modern smart mobility landscape, improving road safety by reducing the likelihood of accidents at critical intersections.

Additionally, Miovision Scout Plus was a major draw for visitors looking for reliable hardware. As a versatile camera mounted above the road, Scout Plus remains the industry standard for safely and effectively collecting traffic data for comprehensive traffic studies. Whether for continuous counts or specialized mobility reports, Scout Plus delivers the accuracy required for high-stakes decision-making.

Expert Insights: Miovision on the Global Stage

Innovation isn’t just about hardware; it’s about the expert knowledge sessions that drive the industry forward.

Miovision experts participated in several inspiring events in Amsterdam this March, contributing to the global conversation on safe and sustainable mobility.

Connected Infrastructure and Vehicles: The Next Frontier in Road Safety

Speaker Dr. Craig Milligan explored how V2X technology acts as a force multiplier for safety, creating a “connected” environment where vehicles and signals work in harmony to protect road users.

From Data to Safety: Leveraging Kinetic Energy Models and Real-Time Insights

Brent Rogerson delved into the technical side of road safety, explaining how Miovision uses predictive science to automate decisions. This data-driven approach allows cities to move from reactive measures to proactive prevention.

Continuous Safety: Using ITS and Predictive Science to Automate Decisions

Building on the Vision Zero theme, this session highlighted how the Miovision One platform simplifies data collection to provide a comprehensive overview of urban planning needs.

These presentations in March 2026 enabled us to deliver expert knowledge sessions grounded in a data-driven methodology.

Media Spotlight: GenAI and the Roadmap Ahead

Our presence at Intertraffic Amsterdam caught the attention of major media outlets in the traffic technology sector. One of the primary highlights was an in-depth interview with Traffic Technology International (TTI).

Miovision CEO Kurtis McBride, joined by Chief Revenue Officer Lyne Jacques and Managing Officer Frank Offermann, discussed the company’s sustainable approach to future mobility. The conversation focused heavily on how Mateo will bring a whole new level of insight to traffic management. By creating systems that are more adaptable than ever before, Miovision is ensuring that cities don’t just react to traffic…

They master it.

Further coverage emphasized how Miovision delivers intelligent mobility, safety, and sustainability through a unified mobility solutions approach. By integrating solutions like Miovision Opticom Emergency Vehicle Preemption (EVP) and Transit Signal Priority (TSP) into the Miovision One portal, we’re helping first responders get to scenes faster and helping public transit remain a viable, sustainable transportation option for all.

A Sustainable Mobility Ecosystem

A consistent takeaway from our March visit to Amsterdam was the need to balance great technical skill with practical, on-street results. Whether we were exploring the finer points of autonomous mobility or rolling out signal timing optimization, the objective stayed clear and shared: to raise safety and everyday comfort for all road users.

Our innovative solutions are designed to adapt to evolving urban needs, ensuring that as cities grow, their traffic solutions keep pace. This commitment to sustainable mobility lowers emissions and fosters greener, more navigable traffic solutions for forward-minded cities.

We also recognize that a comprehensive overview of urban health includes parking and curb management, which are essential for reducing congestion and improving travel speeds.
