Miovision’s 2025 was a year defined by innovation, impact, and momentum. From celebrating our 20th anniversary to earning top industry accolades, forging strategic partnerships, launching new AI-powered solutions, and advancing smarter, safer mobility worldwide, we’ve made tremendous strides. Here’s a look back at the milestones that shaped our biggest year yet, and how we’re setting the stage for an even brighter 2026.

We strive to make every year at Miovision a feat worth celebrating. We had big plans for this year, and 2025 surpassed our expectations. The year was marked by exceptional individuals accomplishing outstanding achievements. From intelligent product upgrades to attending a wealth of conferences, we at Miovision had a very productive year.

With our mindful company pillars at the core of our efforts, we not only met our goals but also exceeded them. Take a look at how our year went from accolades to exciting product launches.

Celebrating Our 20th Anniversary

2025 was an exciting year for Miovision for numerous reasons. Notably, we celebrated twenty years of determination, hard work, dedication, and most importantly, the creation of AI-powered technology to help cities better navigate traffic and safety.

While twenty years of advancements and products have passed, we know there’s no slowing down. We’re ramping up each year. Here’s how we commemorated year twenty of Miovision in 2025.

Admirable Accolades

We value our employees and the cities that benefit from our products and solutions. People are noticing the shift in safety and efficiency that we offer. Here are the accolades we’ve received:

This is the second consecutive year that we’ve received this award. With a 307% growth in 2025, we’ve shared more and more of our expertise. In 2024, we ranked 337th out of 500. This year, we’re at 258/500, with an expectation to do even better next year.

We are considered one of Deloitte Canada’s best-managed companies, a distinction we take pride in, as we prioritize our hard-working team and company culture.

Our connected vehicle software earned this award for advancing smart mobility and connected vehicle technology in the City of Toronto.

We are once again one of Canada’s top-growing companies, thanks to an extended reach of positive impact across the globe.

We are considered one of Southwestern Ontario’s and Waterloo’s top employers. Our company culture is one that we’re very proud to invest in.

We’ve been recognized for having an admired corporate culture due to our ability to enhance performance and sustain a competitive edge.

New Partnerships and Approved-Vendor Wins

It’s our partnerships with other businesses and connections with decision-makers that help us reach farther and improve the rate at which we can improve traffic efficiency and safety. These are the new connections 2025 has brought us:

This vendor connection enables us to provide U.S. traffic, transit, emergency, and planning customers with access to our solutions through a cooperative purchasing agreement.

This vendor connection allows us to provide a similar cooperative purchasing agreement to Canadian customers for traffic, transit, emergency, and planning solutions.

Our new partnership with Ertico creates an opportunity for us to collaborate on safer, smarter transport in European countries.

Product Updates

Our products remain a life force for the company. With them, our customers experience safer and more efficient traffic signal management.

Opticom

Our Opticom technology has seen some significant updates in 2025. We’ve implemented an HAAS Alert integration. Also, administrators can leverage a Live Map available on Miovision One. As well, EVP Analytics are now available.

Scout Plus

Scout Plus is our portable traffic data collector, which has been upgraded this year. We’ve initiated a pedestrian and bike release, which features AI-powered onboard processing for collecting multimodal traffic data.

The same AI-powered onboard processing enables two types of studies. One, ATRs with Bikes, which captures vehicle and bicycle counts in a single study. Two, Pathway Studies, which track pedestrian and bike traffic along non-motorized routes.

V2X

To further our mission to connect vehicles to everything, we’ve established a partnership with HARMAN Automotive and are running a pedestrian and bike alert pilot in Montreal.

Exciting Product Launches

This year, we introduced several new product launches to better support our customers.

Continuous Safety Monitoring

Our Continuous Safety Monitoring helps cities achieve their Vision Zero goals by providing actionable data on potential conflicts before an accident occurs.

MATEO

MATEO was introduced in August and represents the first use of generative AI specifically tailored for intelligent mobility. It acts as an AI-powered virtual agent that helps traffic engineers query complex operations, digest vast traffic datasets, and generate actionable insights more efficiently, enabling cities to respond faster to real-world conditions with limited resources.

Pedestrian and Bike Studies

New Pedestrian and Bike studies feature AI-powered onboard processing to capture multimodal traffic data. This provides more accurate movement data on pedestrians and bicycles.
