Miovision was proud to be a platinum sponsor of ITS Canada 2023 that took place June 14-16 at the St. Clair College for the Arts in Windsor, Ontario. The three-day conference was busy with technical tours, on-street demos and a full conference program exploring the theme of Bridging Mobility Corridors.
The Miovision team showcased our suite of software, hardware, and all-in-one systems that provide global traffic teams with the tools they need to build healthier, safer, and more efficient communities.
One of the exciting solutions exhibited was Miovision One – A transformative software platform that addresses current and future global mobility challenges. Miovision One is designed for Miovision® and traffic management applications, offering a unified interface for a seamless user experience and the ability to add new capabilities as traffic networks evolve.
We also participated in on-street live demonstrations at Riverside Drive W & Ferry St. Our demonstration included the Miovision Core DCM device as well as a Smartview 360 Camera to create a visual representation, or ‘digital twin’, of the intersection to actively detect and interact with the demo traffic controller. By integrating into a live demonstration cabinet, we presented outcomes from remote signal operation tools as well as potential insights about existing signal performance and optimization opportunities.
Miovision traffic experts Olivia Babcock and Brent Rogerson also presented at sessions on “Improvements for enhancing specific mobility options and connectivity – Signals” and “Specific successes and challenges for the system or the riders – Traffic” as well as a presentation on “Keeping Mobility Corridors Moving with the Automated Health Monitoring of Traffic Signal Operations and Infrastructure”.
We enjoyed connecting with our industry peers and partners, and making new friends and connections in Windsor, Ontario!
