Miovision is excited to announce that we achieved another outstanding quarter. We achieved significant milestones across all areas of our work—and are proud to present our continued growth and strategic initiatives toward advancing the transportation technology.

We made significant strides across various sectors like raising capital, acquiring new companies, cloud integration of our products, and getting shortlisted by the US Department of Transportation for the Intersection Safety Challenge. We also forayed into the world of V2X technology at the Auto Show, celebrated diversity and inclusion via our Women’s Day initiative and much more! While each achievement is worth talking about on its own, here’s a quick roundup of all the great accomplishments of Q1, 2024!

An infographic of Miovision's Q1 results in 2024

Intersection Expansion: Our acquisition of TTS has broadened our reach, bringing our solutions to 170,000 intersections.

Strategic Acquisitions and Growth: Boosted growth through key acquisitions. For example, we bought CJ Hensch and TTS. These moves expand our offerings and revenue streams, boosting our market position.

Miovision One: Successfully integrated the OpticomTM priority control application into our cloud-based platform. The application empowers 5000+ global public safety and transit agencies to provide safer and faster emergency response, more reliable and efficient transit systems, and more control over how vehicles move through their city. We had a strong presence at TRB to kick off our participation in the 2024 conferences. Miovision’s “White Alert: A Digital Multi‐Channel Vision for Scalable Intersection Safety” submission won a $100,000 prize in the U.S. DOT Intersection Safety Challenge to help improve the safety of vulnerable road users. The Miovision team also received the Exceptional Paper Award from the Traffic Signal Systems Committee for our leading authorship on the paper titled “Addressing GTFS Realtime Data Latency to Improve Transit Signal Priority.”

We welcomed new customers including Hays County Texas, Cy-Fair Fire Department Texas, and Florida DOT District #2. Additionally, we’ve established new integrations with Samsara, a leader in the Internet of Things (IoT) for fleet management, eliminating the need for additional hardware to deploy Opticom EVP.

Teams aligned around our Customers. They value the uniqueness and value of our products, software, and shared services. They also value the value we have shown. Crucial for efficiency and driving business success forward.

Community and Social Impact: We celebrated International Women’s Day by showcasing the Women of Miovision, who took over The Intersection Podcast for the day. Throughout this time we also conducted interviews with women and men from across departments from Miovision to share their thoughts about IWD.

We attended the Toronto Auto Show, marking our entry into the world of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) technology. Leveraging our acquisition of TTS, we’re ready to expand our presence in this market.

We also launched our green initiative, furthering our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

That’s a Wrap on Q1

In conclusion, Miovision’s Q1 2024 highlights show growth in finance, innovation, leadership, and social impact. This further demonstrates our commitment to what we do and why we do it—and we are determined to continue this streak of success and expansion. These achievements lay a solid foundation for future success and industry revolution. 🚀 #Miovision #TrafficInnovation
