2022, that’s a wrap! 2022 provided Miovision with the growth spurt needed to take on new challenges, innovations and opportunities. We did a lot! From resolving our supply chain issues and shipping more products than ever before to nearly doubling our revenues. But that’s not all we achieved – In the spirit of wrapping up the year and starting anew, we have collected some of the exciting accomplishments we crushed in 2022 (thanks, Spotify, for inspiring us):

We Grew… Like a Lot
- On November 1st, Miovision opened its new US Headquarters in Atlanta to better serve our US customers and partners.
- Miovision made its second acquisition, welcoming Rapid Flow to Miovision in October, adding the Surtrac adaptive signal control solution to our platform. Applying Surtrac adaptive signal control improved conventional traffic signal timing, reducing travel times by 25%.
We Were Innovative
- Miovision added state-of-the-art advance detection to the Core platform with Miovision SmartView Approach, allowing traffic signals to anticipate traffic approaching the intersection.
- Miovision launched Miovision Scout Explore, the first portable video-based traffic data collection solution to offer on-device processing capabilities at ITS World Congress.
- Became the first (and only) AWS Smart-Cities partner in our industry.
- Became ISO 27001 certified.
We Reached One Million…then over 30 Billion
- On Monday, October 24, 2022, the Miovision Data Services team published its one millionth traffic data study. A significant milestone for Miovision, the publication of this landmark study represents the tenacious and persistent efforts of Miovision and the commitment to provide consistent and more accurate data collection.
- Since 2005, our systems have detected over 30 billion vehicles and 1.5 billion pedestrians (data on file).
We Got Recognized
- The Future Digital Awards, presented by Juniper Research, recognized Miovision CEO Kurtis McBride with the Juniper Research Award for Urban Leadership and recognized Miovision TrafficLink as a Platinum Winner for Best Smart Traffic Management Solution.
- Communitech named Miovision as a True North company – companies on a path to achieving $1B in annual revenue by 2030.
