Solution Session: ELEC-205: Preemption Through Vehicle System Integration
Craig Carroll, Vice President of Sales at Miovision Opticom, and Pigeon Forge Fire Chief Tony L. Watson sat down to discuss preemption through vehicle system integration. This one hour session kicked off with a video demonstration on how a connected emergency vehicle can request EVP at an intersection equipped with compatible hardware. This was followed by an informative conversation between the two industry veterans on how Miovision helped the Pigeon Forge Fire Department implement our Opticom EVP solution and the benefits that came along with it including improved emergency response times. Mere seconds can save a life.
